It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year

I absolutely love CHRISTmas! I also love to say "Merry Christmas!" I am not one for celebrating "winter" or saying "Happy Holidays." When you look on a calendar, what do you see? Christmas! And I love every day leading up to it. I love the smells, the food, the shopping, the decorations, the time with family, all the fun pictures!! There is so much to love and be thankful for this time of year. I think this will be the most exciting Christmas yet since it is my first time to be a mommy and spoil my baby rotten!! I have had so much fun shopping for Makenna and everyone else. I have also enjoyed dressing up Makenna in festive outfits. One day last week, we took a lot of funny pics. Makenna was having a hay day and looks like she will be a future commedian. One day she may be embarrassed about the following pics, but they crack me up! I almost peed my pants laughing so hard at the images!

This one is more normal. She is reaching for the camera. She likes grown-up toys! Does the bow look familiar?

This one she is laughing and smiling so prettily, but I cut off part of her face because I wasn't looking through the viewer. I was doing whatever I could to make her laugh and clicking the button.

Ho Ho Ho!

As I promised before, here is Makenna with Santa. This was the very first pic they took. After this, she looked at me confused, then cried. It was nap time, she hadn't really had her morning nap, so she was tired. I thought this was pretty sweet though of them looking at each other.

Christmas cards have gone out with our family pic. I hope I didn't forget anyone. Please let me know if you haven't received yours in a few days. We went last Saturday and had our pics made. It was a mess! Although we made an apt, we had to wait an hour. Makenna held up pretty well and we got a great fam pic, and one of her by herself. I have also taken some cute pics of her dressed up in Christmas gear, but my card isn't working in the computer tower. Not sure what is up with that. I would ask Brady for help, but he has his headphones on, listening to music and playing Play Station. Makenna is very snotty, and it is starting to turn green. I have her elevated, the vapor mist going, I'm sucking snot out, and using the nasal spray. Any other ideas? Should I take her in...although we went to the dr Monday to get her round 2 flu shot. I'm so glad that tomorrow is Thursday! That means a fun Office Christmas episode! I loved last weeks...Dwight "In a perfect world I would have 10 fingers on my left hand so that I could use my right hand for punching." He cracks me up!

Makenna had her very first Thanksgiving. It was a wonderful week! We got to see lots of family, and she said her 2nd word....dadda!! Now all the time it is daddadaadaadaa. Occasionally there will be a momma. Here are a lot of pics. Not much time to type, so I will keep it simple.
